Bushcraft & Birds
Bushcraft & Birds – Family Woodland Adventure 🦉🔥
Step into the woodland for a memorable Bushcraft & Birds family session, where nature, adventure and wildlife come together. This hands-on experience is perfect for families who love the outdoors and want to learn new skills while spending quality time together in the forest.
During the session, you’ll explore a range of fun bushcraft activities including building woodland shelters, relaxing in forest hammocks, and creating simple natural crafts using materials found around the woods.
A special highlight of the session is meeting some beautiful birds of prey. Families will get the chance to meet & handle stunning owls and a majestic Harris Hawk up close while learning fascinating facts about these incredible birds and how they live and hunt in the wild.
As the session draws to a close, we’ll gather around the fire circle to learn the art of fire lighting. You’ll discover how to spark a flame using traditional flint and steel, an essential bushcraft skill that has been used for centuries.
Once the fire is burning, it’s time for the best part — campfire cooking. Families will cook sausages over the fire and finish with the classic woodland treat of toasted s’mores.
Expect an afternoon full of nature, skills, wildlife and campfire fun — a perfect way for families to connect with the outdoors and create lasting memories together. 🌿🔥🦅
